Some regions of Spain do have Easter, but here in Galicia we don´t. We do have the “Holy week”, "Semana Santa". This is the week before Easter, and especially Thursday afternoon (Jueves Santa), and Friday (Viernes Santa) are the most important holidays of the year.
Monforte de Lemos has an additional activity in the weekend after Semana Santa, the " Mediaeval Market¨or "Feria Medival”. Sathurday and Sunday, two days of Medival feasts, cloths, competitions, shows, and fun. It is fantastic! Have a look at the link on our website.
