25th anniversary

Just us and two witnesses, that was all it took to get us married. Our witnesses did not know each other on forehand but got married at the end of the same year.

I wore something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue. Not the traditional wedding dress, but a nice black and white suit which I still have kept all those years. Herman wore black jeans and a whit shirt with a bow tie, and a waistcoat made by me.
We got married on a Thursday morning and had a fantastic dinner party the next day with friends and family. The whole wedding was non-traditional, but it was just we way we loved it.

Now, twenty five years later we are still very much in love. Looking back, it seems like our wedding was yesterday. The time has passed so quickly even though we have been trough a lot in those years.

When our parents had their Silver Anniversary, we children thought they where very old.
And now we have our own Silver Anniversary, and have grown old together......
