In the whole of Spain and of course also in Galicia Christmas-eve is the most important.
The whole family comes together to have a festive meal. On Christmas day everybody enjoys each others company, and eats the left overs of Christmas eve. There is no second Christmas day in Galicia, it is just another normal day.
Herman baked a beautiful cherry-pie which we are going to have this afternoon around coffee-time with a very nice cappuccino. Since we are Dutch (with two Christmas days ) we celebrate the best of everything, we enjoy Christmas-eve, the first Christmas day but also the second Christmas day. Why not?
